battery junction box bypass?

I am rewiring my 68 with aaw factory fit. I don't have a battery junction box. Can I just run the lead/pig tail wire from the battery to the horn relay main wire? I don't see what the difference would be because it seems to me the just connect together there anyways. thanks

Re: battery junction box bypass?

Yes, I don't see no difference using a wire connector than a battery cable junction block w/nut that cost $7.95.
