LS3 GM Harness to T56 VSS doesnt fit

LS3 Engine: 19301358
Engine Wiring Harness: 19258267
T-56 Magnum Transmission: TUET-11009

I think my T-56 came with a Ford Vehicle Speed Sensor. American Powertrain says they all do, even though I ordered for a GM LS. My Wiring Harness looks like this. The plug that fits into my vss looks like this.

Should I splice them together? Or is there an adapter harness? Or should I order a new VSS?

I am using a similar GMPP harness, you are talking about replacing the plug form the PCM harness correct? If so, Just splice in the plug that fits. One is a reference and the other is ground. I would just match the colors up and be sure to use some heat shrink or something similar.

I spliced in the Ford connector that I got from Summit and have had no problems. It's a shame that there has to be Ford parts on my Camaro but at least they work.......

Does your harness have a wire for the reverse lockout? Mine didn't, I added a pin to my PCM to make it work. Not too hard, just a little wiring. Let me know if you want the info.
