Radio Antenna

Was the antenna that came with a 67 am radio the same antenna that came with the am/fm radio? If not, is the actual extending antenna that screws into the base on the fender the same? Thx

Re: Radio Antenna

Telescoping antennas were general AM band antennas and you adjusted the height of the mast (or should have ) as needed to cut static or increase static as needed. Fixed mast antennas were for FM and if combined AM reception. There are different embellishments on the AM telescoping antennas used on first gens. Some refer to the ball as a tic-tac and the collar had variances.

Re: Radio Antenna

My 68 has a rear mounted electric antenna that is now broken.

How do i go about finding one that fits without over spending?
