What is it?

I will try to post a picture but there is a small "box" on the driver's side firewall Maybe 1" X 1/2" and it has two posts. its located to the right of the brake booster (looking at the firewall). I am asking because I just installed an AAW engine and light harness and had to disconnect one of the wires to get the old harness out but the new harness doesnt seem to have a wire for this.

Sorry for all the questions! This is one of many I am sure. Car wont start now and tech support wont be available until tomorrow.

Thanks

Re: What is it?

Looks to me to be an auto resetting circuit breaker. Where do the wire attached to it lead to?

Garage
Re: What is it?

Yes it takes direct power from the busbar then out the other side of the breaker to the power accessory - power top or power windows or both.

Re: What is it?

That wiring / circuit breaker is called out in the AIM. For a '67 it's at UPC C06, sheet A1, on page 192. FWIW
