69 Windshield Wiper Switch Gap

Hi All

Finishing the transfer of what is left from my old Instrument Cluster Housing to my new one, the Old one was “hacked up” pretty bad.
First Pic is the Old one, 2nd is the New one.

I bought a new Dash Carrier, which everything fit nicely until I just went to mount the Windshield Wiper Switch and there is like a 3/16” gap at the 3 posts for the screws.

Is this normal ? My old one had this part of the Left side missing so there is nothing to compare it to.

Should I just space it out with Washers ?

Anyone have this issue and come up with a better idea ?

Thanks
Timmy
