67/68

A friend of mine is going to off a 67 AM/FM that was removed with a multiplex some time ago. He can't find the multiplex but he is willing to sell the radio. My question is:
Will the Radio work once that round multi prong plug, located on the bottom of the radio, is removed for the connection to the multiplex? It seems I remember it needs a plug when not being used with a multiplex.

Re: 67/68

My am/fm radio from my 67 has that strange plug thing on it. It was never hooked up to a multiplex unit but I think thats what the funny looking plug is for. The thing with the yellow sticker on it. This is not my radio, btw.

Re: 67/68

Tony, with our previous emails that we had, I thought that you would understand that the controls on the radio will no longer work, and the plex takes over the operation of the am/fm radio.

The audio knobs cease to function as the multiplex then takes over.
