My LED headlights. Truck-Light 27270C 1969 Camaro

I just got my Truck-light headlights in the mail today and was eager to install them. They were a pain to a degree. I had issues with fitting the chrome beauty ring around the headlight over the new LED headlight. Had to play with the drivers beauty ring but finally got it to slip over. Passenger side was easy. I blame it out probably my aftermarket beauty rings. Difference is night and day. Light up my whole garage. They stick out a little further than the stock ones did. HOWEVER, the light output is GREATLY improved. Here are some pics. I will get better photos tomorrow morning. I would not hesitate to purchase them again.

Wait, you can drive these things at night? LOL. did you use the stock wiring or did you have to add the harness with the relays?

Yes, They are DOT approved! Plugs directly into your 3 prong plug. You literally unplug your crappy 7 in bulbs and plug these bad boys in.

The look great! I put the same Truck Lites on my '68 and I have got many compliments about how cool they look.

They work well as headlights too. They just plug right in.

I bought an extra set of headlight beauty rings and sanded them down a tiny bit so the Truck Lights fit in nicely.

I like mine. As for fitting into a RS, I think you might have an issue. They stick out about a 1/4" farther than the stock ones. Maybe someone else might chime in.

Yeah, I been looking at them as well but don't really want to spend the truck lite $325.

Saw these on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/111834628998...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Anybody try these?

Same specs as the truck lite

Price is right.

And this too shall pass.

Re: My LED headlights. Truck-Light 27270C 1969 Camaro

I put these in my new car. They use the H4 Halogen Bulbs which can be changed out easy.

They fit great and light the road well enough for me. Plugs into existing 3 prong and I did not run relays. Can't beat them for under $60 shipped for the pair.

Then I put the $160 Ring Bros Bezels on. Lol
