68 RS convertible Tic-Toc-Tach guage wiring

I'm trying to wire the clock on the back of the original 68 Camaro RS convertible TIC-TOC-TACH gauge cluster. Everything is working with the exception of the clock. Any assistance we be appreciated. I'm ok with basic wiring. Pictures would be awesome.

Thanks in advance.

re: 68 RS convertible Tic-Toc-Tach guage wiring

Welcome, John
Clocks would have battery power.
Orange wire to BAT fused on fuse panel.
If clock in gauge cluster, I would imagine the same power.

Re: 68 RS convertible Tic-Toc-Tach guage wiring

John I have somewhere instructions on activating the clock on the cluster, as the clock does NOT feed from the standard printed circuit for tachometers in 68. You run the battery lead from the fuse panel to the "nipple" on the gauge back.

Here is the back of a Tic-Toc-Tach from the how to fix your 68 dash lights sticky in the electrical forum here on TC.

Hope it helps. When you get a second fill out your signature with the details of your 68 RS vert and post a welcome message in the Welcome Wagon forum, maybe with some pictures of your vehicle too.
