maybe I just have to pull harder because of 36 yrs of grime but how in the heck do you disconnect the harnesses of a 68 from the firewall side of the fuse box?

There is a bolt in the middle that needs to come out then the harness is split in 2 halves. You may need to press in on a tab on the side to wiggle each part out.

I have them separated already. On the forward harness there seems to be two tabs on the forward harness but the engine just appears to plug in. I just cant get them separated. Is there a tab on the inner half after they have been separated?
