I need help to hook up the wiring harness for the LS1 motor to my car. I know that I will need 12V ign. source and I have to exite the alternator on the motor.
I allready did the external alternater convertion suggested by Waa Vann at www.camaros.net/techref/ftecref14.html and get rid of the blue and white wire explained on there.
now the question is by reserching and asking found out that I can use the braun wire to exite the new alternator.
For the ign source can I use the resister wire (replaced with 10 or 12 gauge wire )?
I woul rather use this wire for a clean instillation rather than running a cable from the fuse block.
What would you think or suggest about this issuies.
Thanks,
Ismail
