Any idea why my stock oil light always stays on in my 67 coupe? I just replaced the engine wire harness but the light was on even before I changed it. Could it be something as simple as a fuse? Nothing seems to be wrong, except for the light. Thanks for any help...

Did you change the oil pressure sender in the back of the block?

Yes. Overhauled the entire motor. That's why I'm thinking it might be at the fuse block??? Believe me-- I'm no expert at this electrical stuff...

With the engine off and the ignition in the run position remove the plug from the sending unit. If the light goes out, it's the sending unit. If it stays on, there's a short to ground somewhere between the sender and the light bulb.
