i have an autometer tachometer that i want to install. Its a 4 wire setup(12v,ground,dimmer,tach)

i have an 86 camaro 2.8mpfi auto.

the car has no existing tach in the gage cluster

the instruction i have for wiring it are for points, hei, and ford ignitions(came with the tach)

i have wired the whole thing exept the tach wire
because i have no idea were it needs to go.
and i dont have a wiring diagram for the car, so that dosent help.

if anybody happens to know what wire it is off hand....please let me know

thanks

On the coil, there should be a white primary wire, and may have an empty pigtail. The white wire is where the tach wire connects.
