I'm trying to find out what's going on with my lights inside by instrument cluster.
I have a 1994 Camaro Z28. One night the illumination in the instrument cluster went out along with the illumination where the temperature control panel is also. I checked fuses and don't see anything wrong. Instruments work fine, seat belt light works, along with everything else, but no background light. I can't see anything at night. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance,

Wiz

Check a parts store for a bulb. If there is only one then I'd say the lighting is done by one bulb that transmits light thru clear plastic. I'm sure you have already wondered if a christmas tree light company made the system. Better yet check the books for light bulbs at a store like walmart if there's no parts stores or see what's for sale online.

figured it out evenutally, it was the fuse marked IP Dimmer inside fuse box. suppose to be 5 amps but keeps burning out, some electrical overload somewhat, i just upped the fuse to a 20. seems to be okay now.
