This may sound like a dumb question, but if a battery is located in the trunk, with the one cable gounded to the frame, and the other running up front to the starter, how does the starter get charged? I thought the alternator re-charges the battery as the vehicle is running. Are there more wires to route back to the battery from the alternator?

It doesn't.

You need the 10 gauge Red (stock size) wire that runs from the battery to the horn relay to be rerouted to the battery positive terminal.

You could do this by connecting the red wire from the horn relay to the positive terminal on the starter.

I goofed. I didn't mean the starter gets charged. I meant the battery. Anyways, so the red wire gets re-routed back to the positive post of the battery? If I don't do it that way, and I go with the red wire from the horn relay to the positive terminal on the starter is that basically the same thing? I'm just catching a route back to the battery positve post by using the cable attached to the starter? As you can guess, I am not very knowledgeable about electrical stuff.

Electrically connecting the red wire from the horn relay to the positive post on the starter is the same thing as connecting it to the positive terminal on your battery. It just uses the battery cable to make the connection between the starter terminal and the battery positive terminal.
