Just installed a new engine harness on my '69. I took the old one off a couple months ago and didn't pay close attention on which wires go to which terminal on the coil. Figured I'd just rely on the schematic in my assembly manual. I know the orange/white and yellow go to the positive and the wire from the distributor goes to the negative. Which side does the brown wire coming from the harness go on? I don't see a brown wire in my assembly manual. Is this the wire from my tach?

I believe so, and the tach drive should go to the negative side of the coil....

Looks like this thread answers my question. I should have done a search prior to this post. Brown is for the tach and goes to the negative side.
