k im trying to get my heat workin on my 69. i have the wiring diagrams and it says that there is an orange wire that goes to the blower fan for the heater, i have an orange wire that can reach that in my engine compartment but i can figure out where it hooks into the blower can anyone help?

hard to see the connection but it is up inside the passenger side fender. It is a spade type terminal on the back of the blower motor.

there is like an opening on the bottom of the casing it it inside there>?

No that is not it. That should be some type of drain or something like that. The spade terminal should be on the side/bottom/top of the part of the motor that sticks out of the firewall.

I have a new engine harness for a 67 rs/ss car with ac and guages, I have an orange wire with a spade type connector with a rubber boot on it, I also think it is the heater blower wire even though the schematic says it is purple. Question is where does it plug in on an a/c equipped car? This wire comes out near the end of the harness right before the 2 solenoid wires.

ok i hooked that up and turned the car on and the heater worked, but, this red wire that runs from the horn relay to a box against the firewall melted all of the inslation off of it. what couls have caused this and has anyone experienced it?

ok my the starter solenoid got jammed and im thinking that this is what could have caused this short is that possible?
