HI team.... Does anyone know the symptoms of a bad pertronics module? Wondering if it is a run or die thing? My car is not running well, and I have barked at just about everything but the pertronics module. Is it if its running its good or do they start to break down and become weak. i had a pertronics module that worked fine for about a month, then just quit, no nothing. then after exchanging for a replacement, i put the new one on, and it ran like crap from the get-go, not sure why, but needless to say i'm not a huge pertronics fan. i went first to a HEI which cured all problems, and now run an msd pro billet. my guess is the module definately could be the problem, but in the module there are no "wear" items, so if it started to run bad, it could be excessive slop in the distrubutor, causing the pert. pick up to act funny. just for grins you might just try a different dist., an HEI would be my choice. good luck
