if I pull on my light switch knob it just comes completely out.Is their supposed to be a clip or something in the notch that is on the shaft to stop it on it's way out? Thanks

Thereís a spring-loaded pin on the switch housing that retains the shaft.

Thanks I just figured it out but after I pulled off the bottom and everything shot all over the car.

Thanks it's back together.The only lights working so far are my parking lights so I've got to start some testing and see where I wind up.
