After 2 years of use my repro tach died. Can anyone recommend someone that can look at it for repair?

Gary,
"The Tachman" can probably fix it. Do a search on that name and his web site will come up. Not inexpensive but he charges the going rate. Probably the same price as a new repro.

Consider buying a used GM. Even if you need to have it worked on it will be better quality than any repro IMHO.

Gary,

Check out my website. There's some tach repair info at the bottom of the page.

Mark...i bought an original once and found out it wasn't repairable without spending some serious money. That's why I went with the repro.

I was thinking about letting the geeks at work check it out.

Hey Mark...I called "THE TACHMAN" and he says he won't even touch it. Too cheap. He says he'll only do originals.

Gary,
Just my .02, but maybe you SHOULD let "the geeks at work" take a look at it. You've got nothing to lose, and who knows, maybe its easily fixed, AND you'll have a valuable piece of info to share.

Send it to me. If it can be fixed, I'll fix it.

Steve W...I talked with the 2 electronics gentleman at work and neither one knows anything about tachs. They both started rambling on about stuff that went WAY over my head.
