It's time to order the wiring for my car. I will keep the original dash harness. The car is a standard non-gauge convertible. I will use a SI alternator, a HEI (Dave Ray's) distributor, and the Autometer gauge pod (voltage, temp, oil, fuel). I have the wiring harness for the gauge conversion. I would also like to maintain the warning lights for the oil pressure and the alternator. I do not have any experience with wiring or electrical systems so my objective is to Keep It Simple. Which wiring and alternator should I order.

if you haven't got al alternator yet, this would be a good time to put a CS alt in there. i think if you get an M&H harness, they will ask you which side the alt is on and which alternator you are using to they can put on the proper plug. same with the distributor.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?

You can get what you want from M&H, just tell them of your changes and they will build the harness to suit.

I agree with Novaderrik - put in a CS130 alternator.
