I was wondering if anyone knows where the ground connection on the back of ext. reg. alt. goes to??Looked in all my books, but can't seem to find anything. You have to plug-in connection from harness, the battery connection with stud and this ground connection??Thanks for any info.

I think the regulator grounds when it's mounted to the chassy. I only have this pix, for what it's worth.. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/album...714&a=13177222

If you are talking about the spade connection under the regulator, that is for a condensor to ground for radio suppresion.

The ground post doesn't need any wire. It's grounded through the bracket to the block.
