Does anyone know of a good place they would recommend to send a tach for repairs? The problem it's having is that the needle only goes up so far and then seems to get hung in the same place regardless of the speed. The needle seems to be off-center and doesn't sit in the center of the dial. Thanks for any help you can give.

Gary "The Tachman" did mine. Do an internet search and his web site will come up. Repaired, calibrated, and returned quick as promised.

Not a cheap thing to repair but then again, what is cheap on these cars anyway?

Thanks Mark. I did a search like you said and found their website. I wrote the phone number down where I can give them a call tomorrow. I emailed a place called AutoInstruments a few days ago and they told me that they could fix my tach for $125, but I thought I would get a couple of quotes before I decided. I also wanted to wait till after I was done with car shows this year before I removed the tach, because I don't know how long it will take to get it back. How long was yours gone?

$125 sounds about right. That is what I paid locally.
