Question

i have a 69 ss camaro with a 454 with an auto 350 turbo in the floor and the gauge package and the dash carrier was changed to one without the tachometer, so i put a dash carrier in with a clock and a tach.unfortunally i lost the wiring diagram for the tach. i have the tach put in the dash carrier and have the wiring harness. it has one plug which i think goes to the dist.( HEI) and i think a ground wire. then it has two more plugs or connectors attached to the same harness, then it has a seperate wire with 2 funny ends on them. Where do the 2 plugs or connectors go and the seperate wire with the 2 funny ends. would they plug into the main wiring harness somewhere? i just don't know about the single wire with the 2 funny ends. or maybe they don't to be hooked up at all. ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD APPREICIATED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Question

When you say "Power and lights", where does this lead go? To a power & lights fuse???

Thanks!

Cool

The power & lights line could be split.the power goes to a source that is 'HOT" with the key on, and the lights could tap into a line with the dash lights. use a test light to find a source for each.the fuse box is a good place to start.
