Hi Guys
Thanks for all the info you guys put out it is a really help.Ihad a 70 SS chevelle and got a lot of help from Team Chevelle now i have a 68 SS conv and need to know does the console fuel gauge go back to E when you turn the key off or stay at the level where the fuel is mine stay at the level. But i don,t know if it is correct.I filled it up and it went past the full mark and drove for about 75 to 100 miles and it never moved.The gauge was in the dash but now is in the console.Thanks again for any info you can give

Dirks SS,

I have a 69 with console gauges (same as used on the 68).

My fuel gauge doesn't go to Empty when I stop the engine, it stays were it.

Mine also indicates full for a long time.
