Has any body installed one of these in a 68 Camaro? I have it bought and it is at home. I haven't even touched the wiring yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

There is nothing like doing it yourself.

My only experience has been with a series of stock reproduction harnesses from M & H. They were well manufactured and it was a snap following my old harness and a factory wiring diagram to get my wiring good as new (maybe better).

I understand Painless makes quality products, but that they are more or less universal and you have to customize them to suit your purposes. A good plan and some experience with vehicle wiring would likely be required, but certainly doable.

POP-D-TOP- Do you ever go to the LVF-body club on the In-nOut burger on West Sahara? We meet every sunday night at 7:30. I'd like to see your car. I don't know of very many 1st gens in Vegas. With that said:
I've done a Painless harness into my 68. If you know how to route, and can sort through the stuff with a little patience, it will turn out fine. Well worth the 350 i spent on it 2 years ago.
