I have a 69 327 Camaro with a regulator seperate from the alternator. I would like to put a newer style alternator on the car. The kind that has the regulator built in to it. What do I need to do to make this function properly?

You need to do a search. This conversion has been covered from top to bottom. Everything you need to know to do it will be there. Click on the search in the upper right corner and go for it.

One of the guys on the Chevelle site found this link. Gives some good information on selecting an alternator that fits.
