I have been looking for a source for green 1895 instrument light bulbs or green lamp paint, anyone knwo of a source?

Well, let's assume you have a 1985 Z28. If not, you have a real rare Z! I don't know the part numbers for the bulbs but when I needed bulbs for my '69 I found them at Kragan. Any chain parts store will have them, you just need the correct numbers...

Dennis,

Thanks for the reply, but I guess my question wasn't clear. I have a 69 Camaro and the instrument lamp number is 1895. The standard ones are clear or white, but I'm looking to replace it with a green lamp.

All of the other instruments have a green filter, the heater ones doesn't seem to and is white light, doesn't look right with the other instruments.

i don't think they make colored bulbs. i'm trying to think what kind of a translucent(ms) paint a guy could use. maybe you could us a green film from a hobby shop to get the same effect????? later, scott
