I take it the dist is HEI.
Looking over the fender from the driver side. make sure the connector from the module inside the dist is plugged good into the cap terminals, the two closet to the center of the cap.
You have 12 volts from the battery hot wired to term marked BAT. Original harness will have to be changed from resistive wire to regular #12 AWG copper wire from the firewall connector. It'll be outside row to the rear. The other front terminal on the same row is for tach.
You might want to ground the dist body, just in case.
You might want ot check to make sure the rotor is good, the ground wire for the coil is under one of the mounting screws, the button in the center of the cap is in good physical shape and spring loaded. Be sure it touches the center of the coil, clean surface, no rust.
If its at the right time, you should have spark. Have plugs gapped pretty wide, .040" min.
