Anyone know how to change where the crank parks? Mine keeps parking at 6:00 and I know it should be around 9:00. Two motors do the same thing. Even without the arms attached it parks back at 6:00.

Got any pictures of the armature or the connection at the wiper motor? Sometimes when you reinstall them they can flop around and get put in incorrectly. Two good motors say to me that its the connection from the motor to the armature.

TMC - I don't have any close ups of that taken but can tell you the arms are as they apear to be in the assembly manual. But even with the arms not attached I get this problem. I'll work on those pics

I would suggest something is amiss in the gearbox. The gear and its shaft are not set correctly for parking and the gearbox cover is stamped/swegded into place.

Time to return to the parts store and exchange it for another with OE part in hand for comparision. I have found if the terminals are not exactly the same in color, its not the right replacement.

Case in point, I bought a rebuilt wiper motor. The OE had 2 silver spades and 2 brass spades. Replacement motor had three brass and 1 silver spade. Hooked up fine with harness, but blew the fuse. Returned to store and got one with the correct matching color spades, worked fine.

Have you removed the wiper motor from the firewall and reinstalled it in a diffrent clock position? The wiper motor on a 67 if looked at from the front of the car, the "rectangular part" should have the longside running vertical.

Willls - now I'm going nuts. The assemble manual shows it almost horizontal (around 8:45) I have tried taking it out, putting it in a different positions and when the power hits it, it goes right back to that 6:00 position. So... if that is correct, I must have something wrong with the arms???? How can you mess that up??
