I am wiring up my Covan dash w/ the supplied harness. They provide a ground wire for the wiper and headlight switch. They show the ground connecting to something on the front of the switch. Its a spade terminal. Now the closest thing I can find is a male spade behind the switch that looks to go behind a ceramic block then down to a copper piece that then (looks) to coonect to the metal frame the whole shootin match is mounted in.

Does this make ANY sense?

I used the ground wire/bracket that came with the car, but if your going to use the ground wire kit they include, I would attach the round washer with the male end (not sure what that is called) to the headlight switch. I would attach the ground wire with the female end to the male end on that piece. The short ground wire attaches to one of the screws on the back of wiper switch. I would use the screw closest to the the headlight switch, since the original ground wire bracket that came with the car grounded the wiper switch by this screw. Hope this helps.
