Hello all,
I'm trying to install my rosewood wheel in my Z. I currently have a standard steering wheel. I bought the installation kit for the rosewood steering wheel but it came with no instructions. The main question that I have is what do I do with the old wires that activated the horn on my old wheel? It is the single wire that came up from the steering column and splits into 2 wires for each side of the standard steering wheel's horn buttons. Where does it connect to now? I looked in the aim under n34 but am still confused.

You remove the 2 wire and replace it with the post and spring from the adapter kit. When I did mine the AIM showed how it goes. I'll check mine tonight and post back what page.

You don't need any parts from your old setup (except the little coil spring that goes inside the white plastic tower that sticks up through the lock plate, and the steering wheel nut). The eyelet and insulator that came with the new wheel insert into the bottom of the hub, then the wheel, horn contact assembly, and horn cap go on. It's in N34, Sheet A1.
