I need a new mortor in my camaro. Right now I have a 81 camaro with a 305. My brother has an 87 olds cuttlass s with a 305 can i use the olds 305 will it fit in with no screwing around?

87 Olds with a 305, that is a chevy engine.

that olds probably has a 307 olds motor...all the tune up sticker on them says is 5.0 liter.not a very good engine, but it has a roller cam..and that's something, i guess..
to answer your question- yes, it COULD be used, but it is totally different than a chev motor, and never came in camaros.but it did come in late 70's firebirds, so i guess it could be done with factory parts, but why bother? for the money spent on all the parts to do it, you could buy a 350 chev long block and be running again in a weekend..
