anyone have pictures of a MSD 6A installation on a first gen camaro? i have HEI distributor with the coil mounted on the cap, as well as the factory wiring setup. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I just put mine in last night. The harness #8861 goes in place of the condenser and the module (The half Moon Thing) inside the cap. You should be able to hook up the purple and green wires to that . This will delete the wires that you curently have coming out of your HEI now. The rest is clear on there web site.
Good luck. It took me since Christmass to figure it out.

Firebird is correct, i spent the better part of a day on this... must have been written by lawyers... ...but one call to MSD, and took me 20-30 minutes to put the modual(cap and rotor were out) in and hook up two wires...well worth the money.
If you need the wireing diagram, i could scan and e-mail.
