Cool Ever look into converting to all LEDís?

Well, Iím gonna save yousome time and hopefully some money too!
I looked through a bunchof manufacturers and kept finding myself at superbrightleds.com. Their websiteand search tools seemed the best for what I was trying to do for my 1967 CamaroRS convertible.
You can look at theconversion and Sylvania or Osram bulb guide too but there are still holes indoing so. I contacted this company to let them know what bulbs works and what didnít.
Here is what I found, thebulb numbers are for the Superbrightleds.com;
Ashtray bulb-BA9S
Clock-gauges-consolelights-(4)BA9S
License-BA15S
Trunk- BA15S
Rear seat courtesy-578
Under dash courtesy lights-67-W15(2) (do not get BA15S, they are too long, wont work)
Reverse-1156
Front running-1157A Amberlight. Will not work, the solder it too long, doesnít fit in fixture.
Glove box-BA9S
Instrument DashCluster-194-WWHP5 (6)
I didnít use the led bulbsfor the tail lights but rather a Dakota Digital kit instead, just based onreviews.
This is what I ordered andI have the whole car converted except for the running lights. The searchcontinuesÖÖ

Re: Ever look into converting to all LEDís?

I had to grind the base of the 1157 superbrightled replacements at the base where the solder is to get them to fit properly, only took a second. and then I used the Dakota no load flashers. I did the front turn/parking,side markers and rear brakes/turn, under dash, rear console and dome, works great.

Cool Re: Ever look into converting to all LEDís?

I have used this flasher with success, price is good also.

I converted to all LEDs in my 68. Used Trucklite headlights, digi-tail tail and front marker and the rest purchased off of eBay. No issues at all.
