68 camaro turn signal problem

When I turn on the lights on my 68 camaro the left turn signal comes on.
The light doesn't blink but comes on permanent.
When I try to blink to the left signal nothing happens.
The light still just stay of and doesn't blink.
When I blink to the right everything is ok.

Re: 68 camaro turn signal problem

Biorge - Velkommen!

So if I follow you right you get constant BRIGHT light in the left turn signal as if it was stuck in a flash.

Does it continue to remain bright with a head lights on also?

Do you get the left to flash if you turn on the 4-way emergency flashers (hazards lights)?

Sounds like maybe a ground issue. Double check and/or add a ground to verify.

X2 on ground issue. Adding a ground to verify is quick and easy to verify & I'd bet that is the issue.....

Re: 68 camaro turn signal problem

X3 on the ground, specifically the left parking light housing. Without a ground current from the parking light circuit flows through both filaments and back up to the turn signal indicator.

Re: 68 camaro turn signal problem

Found it. Wire off in the front left turnlight and a wrong bulb in the rear
