I have a '81 camaro. It had a V-6 in it with an ECM. I dropped in a '78 corvette 350 in it and I don't know if i can still use the wiring harness even though I'm not going to hook up the ECM.

it should be easy to bypass the computer. just find the computer harness that comes out of the firewall somewhere on the passenger side, and get rid of it. with that out of the way, just hook it up like any mid 70's car-distributor, alternator, starter solenoid and any sending units for gauges.it is actually pretty easy.
