Iam building a 68 and was wondering if the underdash wiring harness from a 67 will work as I already have a 67 harness. The rest of the harness is from a 68,also does anyone sell the plug from the rear harness that plugs in to the underdash harness??? I have a good rear harness all except some knucklehead cut the plug.

The engine to fusebox connectors are different and the fusebox is smaller in a 67

The ignition switch plug is also different on a 67 since the 68 has the seatbelt buzzer.

I ordered a complete update series wiring harness from American Autowire. They couldn't provide me with a harness to a 67, which I have, but said there would be no difference using a 68 harness. Is this true?

That's not totally true. The fusebox is physically larger on a 68 and the ignition switch plug is different.

American Autowire provided a new ignition switch to this harness, but I could not get my old lock cylinder into this switch. I guess there is a difference between the lock cylinder from a 67 to a 68, and that I must get a lock cylinder for a 68 in order to use my new ignition switch?
