I bought a reproduction cowl induction kit for my 67 Camaro. The problem I'm having is the clip that goes into the throttle arm (holds kickdown solenoid) is too small. I was just wondering if anybody else had this problem and could maybe recommend a different fastner.

Hello 67427BB,

I didn't have quite the same problem, but maybe I can offer an alternative to the throttle switch.

My problem was the switch kept pushing out of the retainer at full throttle.

I piggy-backed the wiring to the TH400 kickdown switch. If you have a manual, Summit sells a NOS activation switch that mounts to a Holley that will do the same thing - close the circuit at full throttle. It depends on how original you want to stay (since your puting a cowl hood on a '67, I assume your willing to budge on originality).

Hope this helps.

See my response to your identical post over on "General Tech" - I just went through the same thing.
