If it is in IGN position, yes. ACC position, no.

ok let me be more direct . some years ago i let a friend install an msd box for me while i was away . he smoked something and there was no power to the coil wire. so i jumped one from the fuse block directly to the boxe,s coil wire lead that came on when i turned the key . now that i have the car completly torn apart to make many changes and had the harness off the front i noticed the wire on the bottom left of the left side harness connector in the engine compartment was cooked. so i fixxed the connection thinking this was gonna solve the problem. well it didnt. the ignition switch on top of the colum is new and in perfect working order and been tested. the only thing i can think of left would be the nuetral safety switch. nothing else in the harness is cooked all checks out clean and carry,s a path of current. if anyone knows i need help . this is all thats holding me from firing and driving off and after 2 years hard work and lotsa bucks i want to go for a ride. if u need and pic,s of the location on the outter firewall just ask and provide me with a e mail to send them to thanks. also is there a way to test this switch./ thanks
