Are the dimmer switchs universal between 67-69 Camaro's? Are they universal between most all years? I have to replace mine. When you go to the local parts store in my town(very small)they think they have to order everything I ask for. Can I for example get a 78 camaro dimmer switch, will it be the same?

You know how the parts store wizards are that work on Sundays............The only thing most know about cars is how to start and drive one, with some of them I don't even know how they get that far!!!

Thanks in advance,
Joe

'67-'69 Camaro dimmer switches are all the same, and are shared with many other GM cars of the period (and later). Common shelf item in most auto parts stores (usually made by Echlin). Take yours in with you and match it up against what they have - they all have three terminals (power in, dims out, brights out).
