just to make sure i do this wright.
if i run a wire from the Alt batt post to the batt side of the switch it should kill the engine
because it still run's when i turn it off.and what is the best battery box to use for NHRA rules the moroso looks ok? your thots guys

It would work only if you disconnect the alt BAT wire from the rest of the elec system.

You would have to run a wire from the removed BAT wire to the kill switch and back to alt BAT terminal. Use a min #8 wire for both runs.

If you still have the external regulated alternator, you could wire in the kill switch to the field, blue wire, and kill the field, thus, disabling the alt. Alot less current to be handling than the alt BAT terminal. This is providing the kill switch has a second pair of terminals.

Moroso and Summit boxes are both NHRA accepted.

So would it be safe to put a fuse in the 8ga wire from the alt back to the bat+ I would use a stereo fuel like a 100 amp whatís your thots on this
