Has anyone ever heard of a company that can rebuild RS headlight motors?I almost have enough motor parts to put together a pair, still searching, but its not looking good.So in case these wont work is there anyone you know who fixes them.
Thanks in advance.

The 67 electric motors are pretty simple to repair yourself, if you have spare parts. It's usually the nylon gears that are bad, at least that's been my experience.

I took the easy way out, I bought the replacement units. I has to grind a little on the mounting plates but they went in easily and they work like a charm.

I wonder if the DC Motor companies out there would be able to do something with them. We have two in our area but I'm not sure they do rebuilding. I am sure they are not cheap, I've seen what they charge for biger motors...
