Hey folks I am new and I have electrical problems. 69 Camaro has power windows and power door locks problem is they are placing a draw on the battery. Wire is connected to the fuse panel near the top in I suppose a ignition plug bus. Any suggestions on curing the problem. Thanks

The power wire should be plugged into a point that has power ONLY when the key is on for power to the windows. I'm not sure of the door locks, but they should not draw power when not in use.

Door lock can only get power if switch is allowing current to flow ... The switch sends a pulse to trigger lock/unlock circuits ... check for bad switch ( may be even warm to touch ). BTW, did you install an alarm or keyless system to interface with the door lock? If so, that is another thing to take a look at. Also, if you remove door panels, feel the lock actuator. If it is warm, that can also be a sign that it is receiving some current ...
