Your photos and info on the console gauge wiring is very helpful.
But, can you tell me where the two ground wires attach?

One end of the jumper attaches to the center of the Rear mounting plate with a phillips head screw. You can also use the bottom post of the Temperature gauges as this terminal is supposed to be grounded to the plate as well. The other three are insulated from the mounting plate with O rings.

The jumper attaches to the front gauge cluster on the bottom terminal of the fuel gauge. The black wire in the harness can attach to either end of the jumper. I think attaching it to the rear (AMP and TEMP) cluster is correct from the factory.
