Question

Need some expert help here. I need to replace the engine harness on my 69 Z. I have the gauges and was looking at getting the harness from Rick's. According to the catalog, it looks to me that I need a harness for all 8 cyl. with gauges but I was curious about the harness with the carb solenoid. Is this the solenoid for the cowl induction flapper or something other?

Thanks,
Gary

You want "All 8 cyl with gauges"; you don't have a carb solenoid on a Z/28. They're talking about a "throttle-kicker" solenoid that was used on some non-Z/28's.

Cool

Thanks John. I had an idea what I needed, just wanted to make sure it was correct.
