adding a courtesy light

68 Camaro. where do I pick up the hot wire that feeds the dome light and what color?
I want to add a led light for the passenger and driver side under the dash

Re: adding a courtesy light

The hot wire is orange and you can pick it up where the rear harness goes under the driver side kick panel. The ground is white and switched by the jamb switches and can be picked up at the same place. Bulb holder needs to be fully isolated from the body.

Along with Don AAW has a kit you can buy that has everything Kevin. The sockets wires etc. the only thing it doesnít have is the door switches.
