Just finished fixing my horns

Finally got my horns on my 67 RS to work. Horns were bad and I had Gary at The Horn Works rebuild them. He did a great job and the look and sound better than new. Also had continuity problem in column in the collar that cancels the signal. The spring contact under it was corroded and I was getting inconsistent sounding of the horn. So another thing to look at if you are have horn issues. Mine is a deluxe wheel so it a bit different than standard wheel. If you need your existing horns rebuilt I highly recommend The Horn Works at The Horn Works - Car horns repaired rebuilt and restored

I know people want the original, mine are weak too, but I am up for $130 vs $180/$219:

Re: Just finished fixing my horns

Gary did my horns a couple of years ago too. Well worth the price, and they look and sound perfect. He discovered the ones I sent him were not correct for my car and offered to swap them for a correct pair he had at no extra cost.
