MSD diode placement

I have a 69 with a MSD 6AL Box and have the typical "run on" when the key is turned off. Pretty sure that the diode will be placed in the Gen light circuit. For those that have done this, where did you put it? At the alternator? in the dash wiring behind the gauges?

Pics would also help

Re: MSD diode placement

I did mine at the voltage regulator. Worked fine.
