67 console wiring

I have a 67 that was a 3 spd in the flr. got a console now going 2004r got console wiring.So now I need to get n/s. I think there is no place to plug in plug on the harness. Will I have to remove plug and wire in seperate.?

I'm in the process now with my 67. I bought the Shiftworks overdrive shifter. It comes with
the neutral safety switch and back up lights switch. Yes you will have to splice into your wiring
harness for the n/s switch. Purple wire from ignition switch. Or you can continue to run without
the switch.

ok,I have the same,I know I will have to splice, trying to fig if I have to splice both purple wire to ignition and starter.

The n/s switch needs to be in the purple line to the ignition switch only. Shown in the
AIM UPC12 D3.

I have two heavy purple wires from console harness,I guessing both spice into ignition wire? I think iam getting this.

Think of the harness wires as extensions. Hopefully this will help.
