Extra wiring not used in the engine compartment

I have a transplanted engine in my 87 Camaro and I have probably 8-10 extra wires that aren't connector to anything under the hood.

It would clean up the engine compartment if I could get rid of all of them or some of them.. Is that something I should/could do?

Re: Extra wiring not used in the engine compartment

Check out thirdgen.org. You should start by get a wiring diagram for the car and figure out where they went. I found a Factory shop manual for my 90 on Ebay very cheap.
